Audiences and data

Intent data

Updated

Intent data is information suggesting a person is planning to buy, such as their searches or the pages they read. Google calls its version "in-market segments": people researching a product and actively considering buying. Travel signals include destination searches and reading trip guides. Signals age, so how recent they are matters.

Example: a cruise line reaches people who searched for Caribbean cruises in the past month. Itinex builds its audiences from intent signals, such as search terms and the newsletters people received from travel brands. It sees no names or email addresses (how we find travelers).
